It’s official – we haven’t been very good at updating our blog this year.  In fact, this is the first entry of 2010 that we have done – and it is already the end of February!

Needless to say, we have been working very hard post-Christmas on a lot of projects.  The Lifest, Antietam Realty, and Grace Reformed websites were launched in January and February, along with a whole slew of print projects for DMD Engineers, Reinford Landscaping, CenterPoint Counseling, Destiny Image Publishers, Living Hope Church, Thrive Africa, and many many more. We have been kept busy with apparel projects as well, designing and printing over another 1,500 garments within the last month.

We are continuing to work on a variety of new and exciting projects this year, even a new Cross and Crown website…

Stay tuned…

Blog readers – where have we been?  We haven’t posted for a while, and it is about time we get back on track with that.  It is quite cliche to say that “We’ve been busy”, but nothing is farther from the truth – we have been at a very high workload the past two months, coming in early and leaving the office late just to get work done and meet deadlines.  In the coming weeks we will be releasing a good bit of that work too!  We’re glad we love what we do.

We just wrapped up a two-logo set for Technivations.  Technivations is a company that works on and develops iPhone apps.  We were excited to work with these guys.

Next week we will be releasing some more sites and projects, so be sure to check back and see!

We have had a busy week wrapping up work, including three new websites which we released this week including Bollinger’s Aluminum, Ice Fest and Jalex Homes (2.0). We are still keeping rather busy with different projects, including book covers, apparel for LifeLoveMusic, websites for Antietam Realty, Antrim Homes, Uprise Festival 2010 and some interface design for Samaritan Diagnostics.

We have also been busy processing a lot of t-shirt orders – the holidays are coming up, so now is a great time to get your custom apparel ordered.

Have a great weekend!

Vision Conference 2010

Vision Conference 2010

Good morning and happy Monday! On this chilly October morning we announce two of our latest website releases of Vision Conference and Off Campus Choice.

Back in early September we partnered with Vision Conference 2010 and decided to get involved in giving their logo a fresh new look, carrying that over to their new poster and print media, and now wrapping up their website. Be sure to go check it out!

Our other release, Off Campus Choice, is a resource site for college students that features housing outside of the University in Shippensburg, PA. There are many factors to take into consideration when selecting housing or renting an apartment outside of the confines of the University, and Off Campus Choice is here to provide information to students that need to make those decisions. Check it out!

We had a lot of fun in designing these sites and found both of these clients a joy to work with. Other designed media is currently being designed for both clients as well. We have a couple of other sites lined up to be launched in the beginning of November and a few other fun projects as well.

Shirt orders have been picking up for the holiday seasons approaching, so if you’re looking to get some good deals on apparel design or printing, contact us! Stay tuned to our blog and keep checking back for updates, and don’t forget to visit us on Facebook!

Hungry For Life Donation Module

Hungry For Life Donation Module

As September is flying by, so are our projects! We just finished programming a microsite and donation module for Hungry For Life International. Hungry For Life (USA) connects churches and groups in North America with churches and ministries in developing countries for long term relationships involving community transformation initiatives, building projects, pastoral training and many other relief efforts. This is going to be the first of many projects with Hungry For Life that we are working on, and we are excited to be partnering with them!

In other projects, we are undertaking Jalex Homes’ new website, a brand new site for Weaver’s Tire, multiple training modules for PFM, and in the designing stages for Lifest 2010.  We are beginning development for Vision Conference 2010 in both web and print media, as well as the marketing collateral for Joe Pa’s Sports Grille. In the next two weeks we will also be laying the groundwork for Antietam Realty’s website.

As always, stay tuned here at our blog, be our friend on Facebook, or check in daily at our Twitter!

Hello faithful blog-readers!  We understand tomorrow most people are off for the upcoming holiday, however we will be in the office designing our little fingers off.  Projects have been coming in very quickly the past three months, so everyone here in the office is very, very busy!  We have a few projects to share with you.

Impact South Africa

Impact South Africa

1. WEB – Impact Africa.  Our very own Trevor Roberts (along with his wife) is heading over to South Africa this month to help build some homes in the community and to work with local children in VBS programs. We designed this website for people not only to know what Impact South Africa is, but also to inform people on what they would be doing while they are there.

Afrikan Republic

2. PRINT – We have been super busy with print as well, however we wanted to share labels that we designed for Afrikan Republic. African Republic makes skin care products, and we had the opportunity to re-design their product labels.

LifeLoveMusic Heart

3. APPAREL – We have been printing apparel like madmen. Hats for Joe Pa’s Sports Grille, a dozen local church projects, and we just released four brand new LifeLoveMusic shirts for the 2009 line. We have much more to come…

We wish you a wonderful holiday weekend, be careful with those fireworks!

New WebsiteWe are very excited to share with you the recent release of the new Jana’s Bakery Website. Last Friday we released the site and over the weekend over 7 showcase sites picked it up and featured it! By Monday Jana’s Bakery received over 3,500 unique visitors to the new web presence. Not only have the visits increased, we have received many messages and calls about the website. It is being received very well and we are very excited to partner with Jana on this project. If you have not stopped in and tried one of her baked goods, make sure you do! We highly recommend it!

In other news, we are working on 2 major web builds, printing over 3,200 shirts and many other projects we will share with you soon!

Take care and enjoy this warm weather!

Kevin F. Harney Website

Kevin F. Harney Website

Recently we released the new website of Kevin F. Harney, a licensed professional couselor located here in Chambersburg, PA.  Kevin has been counseling since 1996, and has helped hundreds of families and individuals over the past 13 years.  Kevin Harney, provides individual counseling for older children, teens and adults, and also has a great deal of experience working with couples, whether unmarried, engaged, married, divorcing/divorced, or remarried with blended families.  It was great to work with Kevin and help him launch a new and successful website.

For everything else here at Cross and Crown, we are keeping busy!  We will be showcasing 4 new shirts we designed for Lifest/Life! Promotions in a couple of days, so be sure to check back looking for those.

Stay tuned!

Negley's Well Drilling

Negley's Well Drilling

The month of March started off with a large list of things for us to do here at Cross & Crown.  As March continues onward, we still are very, very busy with many projects!  Today’s featured project is one that we have entered the beginning stages of, but still have much work to do.  Behold, Negley’s Well Drilling.  Up front, you would think that all they really do is drill wells, however this is not the case.  Negley’s also does all types of water treatment and testing, provides alternative geothermal energy services and even pump systems for residential homes and commercial areas.  Cross & Crown is in the process of expanding the online look and vision of Negley’s Well Drilling to more than just an assumed well drilling company.  The website we have up now is a temporary site, however in a couple of weeks we will hopefully have a much larger site developed that features all of the additional services they offer, helping to not only educate people about them, but also to share the importance of their services and the benefits they can provide.

Aside from Negley’s Well Drilling, we are also busy with other notable projects:  We just finished up a series of ads for Lifest and Nationally known speaker Bob Lenz, and are continually piecing together promotional material and apparel for the festival.  Destiny Image has kept us busy with book covers as we have been putting together a few different ones for authors Che Ahn and Jeff JansenChristianRock.Net is having us reformat their website, Dance Unabashed is having us re-do their website, We finished up a logo for Kirbtech (computer sales & support) and The Links (Chambersburg recreation center), and somewhere in the middle of all of that we managed to print and process over 1200 shirts.  Whew!

We are still cranking out work here at Cross & Crown, and have a steady flow of incoming work.  We have a few projects coming up in the beginning of April that we cannot annouce as of yet, but I am sure we will be releasing a sneak peek or two of what’s to come!

Stay tuned readers … big things to come.
