We are currently working a lot of new projects this coming month of September – websites for Drew Michael Taylor Foundation, LifeLoveMusic, Lifest 2010, Hungry for Life, and much more. We are going to be releasing some sneak peeks in the coming days of a few projects so you can see our progress!
We also had our very first invigorating whiteboard session today. We’re trying to make use of all of our brainpower in dealing with our projects, making sure we come up with the best for our clients. You never know, maybe you’ll be on our whiteboard soon … ?
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for our latest work and some sneak peeks!
Cross and Crown has released our project for the week: full book cover for Kamran Yaraei’s new book, Food For The Heart. Kamran had a great enthusiasm and vision for his book – after a few different versions and revisions, he chose a cover and we helped him develop it from there. Want to know more about Kamran? You can read more about him and his passion with Project Call Out.
We are continuing to tackle an increasing workload including work for Christina Sanders, Paramore, Cute Is What We Aim For, The Glorious Unseen, Jonny Diaz (DIE-AZ), Belinda Jane, Future Shirts, King Street Church, Cross Inc. and much, much more. So stay tuned for updates on our work, and some possible sneak previews coming up!
In other news and updates, as one of our employees went out to their vehicle this morning, they noticed the temperature reading was 3º. Now that is cold.
Hello faithful readers! Happy New Year to all of you. Welcome to the very first blog post of 2009! We would also like to welcome all the new readers to the Cross and Crown blog. We had a wonderful year in 2008; over 50 new clients, a new office building and 4 great interns. We enjoyed last year’s success and are ready for a new and exciting year at Cross and Crown – we already have some new and exciting projects lined up. What better way to get it started than to release our new website?
After a couple weeks of brainstorming, designing, updating, coding and testing, we have released the next version of our website (a much better version). The new website has some cool new features:
• simpler, faster loading interface
• revamped and updated portfolio of our work
• client list of who we have done (and are doing) work for
• a services page that tells you everything we can do and offer
• “quick quote” form making it easier to contact us with what you want
We encourage you to spend some time on the new site looking around. We plan on keeping our portfolio and blog as updated as often as possible. This will be a challenge as we already have a busy January planned – so we ask you to be patient!
We’ve also listed below a few sites below that we’ve done that we didn’t have the chance to share with you yet. Call it your New Year’s treat.
Stay tuned!

Cross and Crown would like to welcome our newest, brightest, friendliest intern ever, Joel. It so happens that we also have two additional employees named “Joel”, so if you thought two “Joel” people were confusing, you’re in for a treat now.
He hails from Columbia, MD and is wrapping up his college career at a Shepherd University. He enjoys drawing with crayons and chugging coffee. Joel just discovered the joys of VHS and spends quality time with his wife watching films. Joel looks forward to learning new and exciting things and takes pride in his collection of German markers.
Be sure to stop in, grab some coffee, and say hello to the new Joel (or who we call “#3″).
Stay tuned…
Lifest a website, one of the nation’s hottest summer festivals! After two weeks of concepts, mock-ups, thumbnails, proofs and live editions, Lifest has been released for the 2009 season – full with everything you need to know about the festival, including custom wallpapers for your desktop and even your iPhone! (if you have the pleasure of owning one). We’re not even done with 2008! We not only had the privilege of redesigning the website, but also revamping their identity and making a new logo. Working with Lifest has been a fun journey for us here at CACPRO, and we’re excited to keep making things fresh and cutting edge for the festival.
Go check it out and get a ticket while you are at it!
As of today, October 24th, the official Cross and Crown Network has been launched! There has been some confusion and questions in regards to what all Cross and Crown does and how we are involved with Thread Sequence and C & C Coffee, and so on. At the network, everything under Cross and Crown is listed as an icon at the bottom of the page. Cross and Crown, Camp & Coffee, Thread Sequence, C & C Store (more to come) and Discover Chambersburg. The idea is that all of those things are under Cross and Crown, like an umbrella – Cross and Crown is the parent company. We will be updating the site regularly, so check it out!
It has officially been too long for us to not write a blog. Happy October to all of you who read this, we apologize for being so quiet. We’ve got to tell you, things have been everything but quiet here at a Cross and Crown! We are keeping busy with an entire new load of websites we are working on, including sites for RMS Music and Sound, Shippensburg Rental Homes, Destiny Image, Physical Therapy Etc. … the list goes on. So what’s with this blog’s title? This past week we whipped up some t-shirt designs for recording artist Thousand Foot Krutch.
We just finished up a E-Invite for the Author: “Matthew Paul Turner”. We were commissioned to design the invite to attract people to attend the book signing for the new book: “Churched”.
We are still busy with many other projects! We will give you more updates when we can.
Faithful readers – good news!
We’ve completely revamped our online portfolio and updated our repertoire (reh-pe-twah). We have taken away our old flash “photo style” portfolio and replaced it with a light-box viewer – something much more simple and easy to use for everyone.
Along with the new look comes new work! We’ve updated new thumbnails and samples of our lastest work in web, print, merch and branding. So take a look!
We are currently still busy here at CACPRO, and are continuing work on quite a few websites, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have time for other things – shoot us an email or give us a call if you need anything.
Thanks for reading, stay tuned for more updates! Oh, and don’t be afraid to comment on our blog, you’re allowed to do that.
