We just wrapped up a two-logo set for Technivations. Technivations is a company that works on and develops iPhone apps. We were excited to work with these guys.
Next week we will be releasing some more sites and projects, so be sure to check back and see!
Yesterday, September 20th, 2009, was a very special day here at Cross and Crown. Joel Davis who has been working at Cross and Crown since the beginning, got hitched! Joel plays a large role at CACPRO, designing billboards, print media and running the apparel end of things. We will miss Joel this week as he spends some time off in TN with his wife, Jen. His wedding was held at Chambersburg First Church of God and the reception was held at the Orchards. We has a great day and we are very happy for the newlyweds!
Another exciting part of the wedding was getting to see our good friend Jack Potts. Jack is a photographer from Houston, TX. Jack owns and runs Bohemian Photography and has had the pleasure of working with many high profile clients including: Black Eyed Peas, Nike, 50 Cent and Jessica Simpson. Jack was the photographer at Joel’s wedding. He provided a few pictures to give you a glimpse of the day.
While here we had a CACPRO and C&C Coffee photo shoot. Stay tuned to some pictures from that day. Lastly we are very busy working on web builds, shirts, billboards, book covers and many other projects!
Check back soon.
As September is flying by, so are our projects! We just finished programming a microsite and donation module for Hungry For Life International. Hungry For Life (USA) connects churches and groups in North America with churches and ministries in developing countries for long term relationships involving community transformation initiatives, building projects, pastoral training and many other relief efforts. This is going to be the first of many projects with Hungry For Life that we are working on, and we are excited to be partnering with them!
In other projects, we are undertaking Jalex Homes’ new website, a brand new site for Weaver’s Tire, multiple training modules for PFM, and in the designing stages for Lifest 2010. We are beginning development for Vision Conference 2010 in both web and print media, as well as the marketing collateral for Joe Pa’s Sports Grille. In the next two weeks we will also be laying the groundwork for Antietam Realty’s website.
As always, stay tuned here at our blog, be our friend on Facebook, or check in daily at our Twitter!
Hello faithful blog-readers! We understand tomorrow most people are off for the upcoming holiday, however we will be in the office designing our little fingers off. Projects have been coming in very quickly the past three months, so everyone here in the office is very, very busy! We have a few projects to share with you.
1. WEB – Impact Africa. Our very own Trevor Roberts (along with his wife) is heading over to South Africa this month to help build some homes in the community and to work with local children in VBS programs. We designed this website for people not only to know what Impact South Africa is, but also to inform people on what they would be doing while they are there.

Afrikan Republic
2. PRINT – We have been super busy with print as well, however we wanted to share labels that we designed for Afrikan Republic. African Republic makes skin care products, and we had the opportunity to re-design their product labels.
3. APPAREL – We have been printing apparel like madmen. Hats for Joe Pa’s Sports Grille, a dozen local church projects, and we just released four brand new LifeLoveMusic shirts for the 2009 line. We have much more to come…
We wish you a wonderful holiday weekend, be careful with those fireworks!
Recently we released the new website of Kevin F. Harney, a licensed professional couselor located here in Chambersburg, PA. Kevin has been counseling since 1996, and has helped hundreds of families and individuals over the past 13 years. Kevin Harney, provides individual counseling for older children, teens and adults, and also has a great deal of experience working with couples, whether unmarried, engaged, married, divorcing/divorced, or remarried with blended families. It was great to work with Kevin and help him launch a new and successful website.
For everything else here at Cross and Crown, we are keeping busy! We will be showcasing 4 new shirts we designed for Lifest/Life! Promotions in a couple of days, so be sure to check back looking for those.
Stay tuned!
The month of March started off with a large list of things for us to do here at Cross & Crown. As March continues onward, we still are very, very busy with many projects! Today’s featured project is one that we have entered the beginning stages of, but still have much work to do. Behold, Negley’s Well Drilling. Up front, you would think that all they really do is drill wells, however this is not the case. Negley’s also does all types of water treatment and testing, provides alternative geothermal energy services and even pump systems for residential homes and commercial areas. Cross & Crown is in the process of expanding the online look and vision of Negley’s Well Drilling to more than just an assumed well drilling company. The website we have up now is a temporary site, however in a couple of weeks we will hopefully have a much larger site developed that features all of the additional services they offer, helping to not only educate people about them, but also to share the importance of their services and the benefits they can provide.
Aside from Negley’s Well Drilling, we are also busy with other notable projects: We just finished up a series of ads for Lifest and Nationally known speaker Bob Lenz, and are continually piecing together promotional material and apparel for the festival. Destiny Image has kept us busy with book covers as we have been putting together a few different ones for authors Che Ahn and Jeff Jansen. ChristianRock.Net is having us reformat their website, Dance Unabashed is having us re-do their website, We finished up a logo for Kirbtech (computer sales & support) and The Links (Chambersburg recreation center), and somewhere in the middle of all of that we managed to print and process over 1200 shirts. Whew!
We are still cranking out work here at Cross & Crown, and have a steady flow of incoming work. We have a few projects coming up in the beginning of April that we cannot annouce as of yet, but I am sure we will be releasing a sneak peek or two of what’s to come!
Stay tuned readers … big things to come.
Relationships are one of our core values at Cross and Crown. We find that getting to know someone is the best way to further a relationship. With this thought at the forefront of our thinking, we would like to share some more information on Trevor Roberts, Cross and Crown’s co-founder. One of Trevor’s passions is to be a life long learner; he finds himself content with the knowledge he has, but also strives to gain more knowledge.
In September of 2008, Trevor was approached and asked to teach an advanced graphics course at Kaplan College in Hagerstown, MD. After much thought, he accepted the position for classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Trevor brings many new ideas and energy to the classroom, both of which his students acknowledge and enjoy.
After having a positive experience in the fall, Trevor agreed to continue and teach during the winter semester. Currently, Trevor is teaching an “Intro to Photoshop Class” and an “Intro to Illustrator class”. Trevor continues to commit over 50 hours a week to Cross and Crown and C and C Coffee as they continue to grow.
Stay tuned to more updates from your friends at Cross and Crown.

Cross and Crown has released our project for the week: full book cover for Kamran Yaraei’s new book, Food For The Heart. Kamran had a great enthusiasm and vision for his book – after a few different versions and revisions, he chose a cover and we helped him develop it from there. Want to know more about Kamran? You can read more about him and his passion with Project Call Out.
We are continuing to tackle an increasing workload including work for Christina Sanders, Paramore, Cute Is What We Aim For, The Glorious Unseen, Jonny Diaz (DIE-AZ), Belinda Jane, Future Shirts, King Street Church, Cross Inc. and much, much more. So stay tuned for updates on our work, and some possible sneak previews coming up!
In other news and updates, as one of our employees went out to their vehicle this morning, they noticed the temperature reading was 3º. Now that is cold.
We have released one of our latest creations, Phsyical Therapy Etc. Based in Chambersburg, PA, Physical Therapy Etc has been serving Chambersburg and the local community since 1981. We were contacted last month about updating and revamping their website, and after a few meetings and slight revisions, we were good to go.
Continue to stay tuned as we are going to be releasing new projects in the coming weeks!
