We are so grateful both to have stayed busy this summer and to have welcomed two new team members! They’ve jumped in with both feet and we’re loving the energy they bring to the team. Join us in getting to know them a little better!
“Impactful work that matters” was my hook. The opportunity to work alongside a purpose-driven team with purpose-driven clientele is what peaked my interest in Cross & Crown. I was also seeking a challenge in my career, and I knew this position would fit that ticket. Cross & Crown checked all of my boxes.
New Zealand! I’ve been there twice, and I can’t wait to go back again. #TeamJacinda and GO ALL BLACKS!
Well, I’ve never moved to Toronto before, but it’s on my list!
In my downtime, I love time with good friends, good wine, or a good book—or rewatching Schitt’s Creek for the 1,000th time.
JLo. What a queen.
For me, one of the most exciting things about joining Cross & Crown is the variety of clients and projects. There’s always new topics and humanity to explore and learn. And, since everything is custom, we’re constantly looking out for what’s next on the horizon and implementing new design and technology techniques.
I had a college internship which was located in downtown Phoenix, AZ. I grew up on the East Coast, had traveled to the Pacific Northwest a handful of times, and been on a guided tour of some countries in Europe, but Arizona was the most “alien” to me and therefore the most interesting. For me, it was the stark contrast of landscapes. I was used to heavily forested, green everywhere, hills and mountains but in Arizona, specifically Phoenix, it felt very barren and exposed. The “forest” of cacti and tan colored landscape made me feel like I had landed on a distant planet. I love the contrast between locations and appreciate both home and abroad even more because of their differences. It has remained one of my favorite places, but I don’t think I’ll ever want to live there—the temperatures are insane!
In 2019, before COVID while I was living in Washington, I had received tickets to attend a Jacob Collier concert scheduled for 2020 in Portland, OR. It got cancelled due to COVID but has recently been rescheduled for April 2022 and I’m looking forward to traveling back to the PNW again and getting to see Jacob in concert for the first time!
As much as my traveling above might suggest otherwise, I’m very much a homebody. I get a lot of enjoyment spending time with family, friends, pets, and, as an introvert, my own company. I also really enjoy video games and spending time online keeping up on all the latest news in gaming and technology. My hobbies include: gaming, listening to music, reading, meditation, yoga, drinking coffee, walking, organizing things, and occasionally drawing.
