Meet Maddie: Our New Designer!

Our team is continuing to grow and we are so delighted to welcome aboard Maddie, our new designer!

Maddie graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from Samford University and has a background in brand design and creative direction. She currently lives in Marietta, Georgia, and will be working remotely with a couple of stops in-office throughout the year. Join us in getting to know a little more about her.

What drew you to apply to Cross & Crown?

I was first drawn to the clients that Cross & Crown has worked with, and built relationships with, because they are clients that serve their community, do good for others, and are the type of clients I would feel inspired to work with. After meeting the team, I knew I would be lucky to work alongside such encouraging and talented people.

It’s a New Year! What’s one thing you would love to learn this year?

I would love to learn pottery! I’ve only done it a handful of times, but it’s a skill that takes a lot of time to become good at. My dream would be to, one day, have a wheel and kiln of my own so I could make handmade ceramics for family and friends.

What season best represents your personality and why?

I’m really drawn to fall. I think it represents the calm and reflective part of my personality. I also love the details of life and fall is a time where I can slow down and enjoy time with my family and friends.

Do you have a favorite book or tv show that you’re really into lately?

I haven’t read any good books lately, but my favorite of all time is “The Nightingale” by Kristin Hannah. I have recently been going through the Marvel movies for the first time.

Where’s one place you wish you could visit?

I can’t pick one… I would love to go to Iceland or Japan! Yellowstone National Park is also a bucket list item. Too many choices!

Do you have any hobbies or secret talents?

Not currently. Picking up a new hobby is one of my biggest goals this year. I would love to read more.

Is there anything else you’d like to tell us about yourself?

I am so excited to be a part of the Cross & Crown team! I feel lucky to do what I love and learn from amazing people alongside me.

We are so thankful to have Maddie on our Design Team. We know her creative expertise will be a great help to our team and beneficial to our clients. We look forward to seeing her thrive in her new role at Cross & Crown.
