In its first six years, Cross & Crown focused on providing graphic design services to small businesses and nonprofits, helping them communicate their mission through thoughtful branding and identity. Over these foundational years, the company grew steadily, bringing in talented team members to expand its capabilities.

Cross & Crown officially launched as a design-first company, focusing on delivering high-quality graphic design services to businesses and nonprofits alike.

As the first addition to the team, Joel Davis brought full-time design expertise, helping to expand the company’s creative output.

2009

As demand for Cross & Crown’s services grew, Adam Swisher joined the team, further enhancing the company’s design capabilities and helping the brand evolve into a creative force for its clients.

Cross & Crown redesigned ATC’s website as part of its larger “Wild East” campaign, including a dedicated microsite for Wild East. The WordPress rebuild improved audience engagement and communication, making it a rewarding project due to its strong ties to national heritage and recognition.

Michael Kozlowski joined the team as the second full-time videographer, bringing valuable expertise that contributed to the company’s expanding portfolio of web and digital services.

Located off the coast of Los Angeles, California, Cross & Crown partnered with Catalina Island Conservancy to revitalize its digital presence with an elevated web design, supplemented with enhanced video marketing, social media management, and digital advertising.

Rachel Poffenberger was welcomed as the new digital content specialist on the marketing team.

Martin, providing full-service marketing solutions to elevate its local presence, including social media and ad management, videography and photography, a full brand identity redesign, an internal portal for team members, and a new web design.

Maddie Hathcox, a full-time remote team member from Georgia, joined as a graphic designer contributing to web, branding, and print projects.

Hannah Moats joined Cross & Crown’s web team as an intern and was later hired as a full-time junior developer following her graduation from Shippensburg University.
